Title IX K-12 Update: An In-Depth Look at the 2024 Regulatory Changes

On Friday, April 19, 2024, the U.S. Department of Education unveiled new Title IX regulations. The new regulations replace the most recent changes from 2020. The new regulations include many significant changes and take effect on August 1, 2024, which leaves little time for K-12 schools to adjust their policies and procedures. With this steep learning curve, EdLaw Interactive is working to help schools understand their obligations under the new Title IX regulations. In this 4-part webinar series, we will be examining the following topics:

  • Part 1 - Non-Discrimination in School Sports and Activities

  • Part 2 - Sex Discrimination in Schools (Employee and Student)

  • Part 3 - New Changes to Grievance Procedures

  • Part 4 - Special Education Implications of the New Title IX Rules
