In this webinar, EdLaw Interactive is pleased to welcome Dr. Perry Zirkel, Esq., a prolific writer and esteemed special education scholar, for a discussion of the remedies available under the IDEA.  Dr. Zirkel will answer questions such as:

• What remedies are available under the IDEA, and how are they determined?

• What factors are considered in determining whether tuition reimbursement is an appropriate remedy?

• When is comp. ed. awarded, and how is it determined?

• What other remedies are available in special education cases?

• What are some of the implementation challenges? How are they resolved?

• What practical lessons should special educators and administrators take away from this session?
